Whiskey Jack is looking forward to performing at the Artword Artbar, 15 Colbourne St in beautiful downtown Hamilton.
The date is this Saturday, June 14th.
8:00 pm on the dot!
The food is spectacular, the hospitality is second to none and the entertainment of course is, well, very good indeed. It's easy to find. Hamilton is the home of the one-way street so it's impossible to get lost. Call ahead to reserve a seat if you are inclined. 905-543-8521

Special guest for the evening will be a Canadian music legend, Denis Lepage. In the 1970's and '80's, Denis was the most important professional banjo player in Canada. He toured with the best bluegrass bands and recorded many solo albums.
April 10th, 9:00 pm Dave Bidini hosts another Stompin' Tom Tribute at the Horseshoe Tavern, (370 Queen St. W). Whiskey Jack has been asked to donate a few songs and stories from our time on the road and in the studio with this great Canadian.. we're thrilled to wave our STC flag at this legendary club. Of course I'm sure you know why Stompin' Tom and the Horseshoe go together like peanut butter and jam!
ONE WEEK LATER, on February 17th, we visit the Danforth and spend a few hours at our new east end digs, The Eton House at 710 Danforth Avenue. The proprietors George and Tommy make you and the musicians welcome here and we invite you to hop on the subway, get off at Pape and walk one block east to the club. No Cover. Kids welcome.
We will perform this song:
Whiskey Jack wishes our fans and supporters a very Merry Christmas and we hope 2013 will bring happiness and GOOD HEALTH!
Thanks to each of you for not only supporting us with your presence at our gigs, but thank you also for supporting live music. It means the world to all of the musicians who perform around town.
OUR NEXT GIG WILL BE JANARY 20TH AT THE CADILLAC LOUNGE, 4 TO 7. No Cover Charge and Kids very welcome.
If you've always wanted to visit the Caddie at one of our gigs, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the friendliness and familiarity of everyone there. The beer selection is excellent, the food is great and the music will transport you to someplace pretty wonderful.

When we were on the Tommy Hunter Show in the early 1980's, we were thrilled to be part of the Christmas Show featuring many of our childhood heros. King Ganam. Al Cherny. Cousin Clem. Gordy Tapp. Here's our segment from that show featuring Cousin Clem.
NOVEMBER 15, 2012
Newfoundland's own John Prince will be joining Whiskey Jack at the Silver Dollar this Saturday, November 17, 2012 starting at 7:00 pm.
John and his band End of the Road merge the Cape Breton steak with the Newfoundland sizzle. Their tunes are exceptional and these fellows bring many many years of experience to the stage. Please join us.
Whiskey Jack's next show will be on November 11th at The Eton House, 710 Danforth Avenue starting at 4:00 pm.
It's just been announced that this will be a Remembrance Day Special featuring our resident bagpiper, David Fremlin. Many of you have seen David perform with Whiskey Jack. He's piped the band on stage across the province, most recently in the thriving metropolis of Echo Bay Ontario. He's also starred in the movie Men With Brooms.
As an added feature, the stage will be blessed not only with the bagpipes and the banjo, but also with our favourite accordionist, Denis Keldie. Imagine the goose bumps when the banjo, the bagpipes and the accordion rip into a reel or a polka.
Always no cover charge and the kids are welcome.
The following Saturday, November 17th is Whiskey Jack's monthly "evening" performance for the night owls. Show begins at 7 pm. This is for those looking to get out of the house for a night on the town. The very special guests on this evening will be one of Newfoundland's musical treasures, John Prince and his band, End of the Road.
WHISKEY JACK RETURNS TO THE CADILLAC LOUNGE
This coming Sunday, March 3rd is the date for Whiskey Jack's monthly visit to the venerable Cadillac Lounge in the ever popular Parkdale neighbourhood of downtown Toronto. The five members of this combo, now in their 35th year, have accumulated enough hours on stage in North America and beyond that they can now officially measure them in light years.
Their experience shows as they perform songs from a very long repertoire.... that just continues to get longer each week. New songs will be unveiled on this day. Please join them. No Cover Charge. Baby buggies and walkers are welcome. That's a clever way of saying all age groups will be entertained.
1296 Queen Street West - on the streetcar line. Lots of street parking.
THIS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23rd will be a rare "threesome" with Bob, Duncan and Howard performing an all acoustic Saturday Brunch, RAKIA BAR TORONTO, 1402-B Queen Street East, just east of Greenwood. It's a cool New York style restaurant with lots of windows and a great menu. We welcome you to join us.

We have a couple of very cool gigs in February and they bookend Valentines Day. The love on and off the stage will be palpable.
Sunday February 10 is our monthly visit to the Cadillac Lounge. As usual, it begins at 4:00 pm and we sing our hearts out until 7:00 pm. 1296 Queen Street West... best club west of Yonge Street. If you haven't been, do yourself a favour and drop in for a pint and a bite to eat.

It's been awhile but we're happy to announce our return to the Riverdale area next Sunday, October 20th, 2013.
The location is the friendly Eton House (710 Danforth Avenue, just east of the new Pape subway stop) where George and Tommy will make you feel right at home. They've really elevated this room to the best place to enjoy live music east of Yonge Street. If you haven't been, please join us from 4 to 7 pm.
NO COVER!
KIDS AND ADULTS AND THE GREY HAIR CROWD ARE ALL WELCOME!
There will be some very SPECIAL GUESTS on this day. And after much brouhaha these past few months, we will indeed have a small jar of pickled eggs to offer, should you be interested. Just sayin'....
Duncan, Bob, Howard, Eric, Michelle and Randy
Our next Cadillac Lounge performance will be special. It's been two years since our lead singer and great friend Arlene Zock died. Our songs pine for that perfect voice each time we sing.
To honour this lady and celebrate her life, we are hosting a special birthday party for Arlene on October 6th. There will be an abundance of special guests, most of which have performed with Arlene over the years.
There'll be Mark Ripp, Colin Bradley, George Meanwell and Daniel Kushner from the Gala String Quartet, Rob Whitehead, John Switzer and some of the George Lake Big Band and many more offering their talents on stage that day.
Can you join us?
4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and always, NO COVER. Kids and pensioners welcome along with the young crowd who can't believe these old geezers can produce such great music!
We were thrilled to be joined on stage by the legendary Jaymz Bee from Jazz FM fame. He was kind enough to help us out with a tune... special kazoo performance for the Cadillac Lounge crowd on September 8th.
This was the sidewalk sign that brought in a great crowd at The Local on August 27th... the boot was appropriate on every level! And they spelled Whiskey with an E! We appreciate that.
Great time was had by all at the Taste of the Kingsway Festival September 6th. Sunny warm autumn evening. Thanks to Rob Pagetto for a great job as MC.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH..... One Show Only starting at 7:00 pm.
Something a bit different... we perform at our local dinner theatre, the Flying Beaver Pubaret at 488 Parliament Street. It's a great spot to enjoy a meal and a glass of wine while we provide the appropriate music...

Sunday, April 13th, 4 pm to 7 pm.
Our very special guest is one of Toronto's finest vocalists, Debbie Fleming. Duncan and Bob have been working with Debbie arranging some vocal show pieces that will dazzle and entertain.
As you can read on Debbie's web site..
"Debbie’s deep love for all good music has led her to explore the essence of jazz, R & B, country, pop, roots, bluegrass and classical music both in her singing and her writing. Debbie has earned great respect and a solid reputation in all these areas — from adding her soprano voice to choirs such as The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, The Amadeus Choir, and the St.Paul’s Singers, to singing and arranging backup vocals for major names in the music business."
Now in our third year in this fine establishment, we return each time with great glee, eager to perform for those who have made this a Sunday afternoon tradition.
We welcome new fans of Whiskey Jack and live music to check out the best joint on the Queen Street West strip.
Never a cover.
Kids always welcome.
Make it a family outing.
